Torre del Lago Puccini lies between Lake Massaciuccoli and the Tyrrhenian Sea, on one of the most distinctive stretches of the Tuscan coast. It is the place Giacomo Puccini chose as his home for over thirty years, and where he composed Tosca, Madama Butterfly and many of his most celebrated works. Every summer the open-air Gran Teatro hosts the Puccini Festival, one of the most important opera events in Italy.

The house is located in the Lagomare district, a short distance from the village centre, within the Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Regional Park: over 23,000 hectares of pine forests, dunes, lakes and Mediterranean scrub, protected as a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

The sea<\/h3>
Torre del Lago beach is reachable on foot in less than 10 minutes through the pine forest. The path crosses no busy roads: you walk among the pines all the way to the shore. Viareggio, with its beach clubs and seafront promenade, is about 5 km away. <\/div><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The San Rossore Park<\/h3>
Trails for hiking and mountain biking, birdwatching on Lake Massaciuccoli, guided excursions on horseback and by canoe.
